Post mortem To honor the distinguished professor Dr. Diogenes Cedeño Cenci, former rector of the University of Panama and former director of the Centro Regional Universitario de Veraguas (CRUV), teachers of the department of English at the University of Panama, led out, the Eleventh Meeting of Teachers of English and V Symposium, 26 and November 27, 2010, in the Auditorium of CRUV.
Inauguration of this meeting was given by Master Cesar Garcia, director of this institution, who thought an excellent idea to develop this type of academic activity, due to the high rate of failure and spelling errors committed in different newsrooms at all levels teaching-learning process.
Among the main topics presented were: Conference on the Problems of Teaching English at the Escuela Normal Superior Juan Demosthenes Arosemena, by the Mgter Benigno Herrera, made a proposal for a new plan of the degree in English and Proposal for the Masters Core Curriculum Livia Gonzalez and Rafael Ruiloba Masters.
As for the Post-mortem tribute to Dr. Diogenes Cedeño Cenci, Dr. Eurybiades Alvarado, developed the theme "Don Diogenes Cedeño Cenci, educator, politician, friend", while the Dr. Porfirio Sánchez Fuentes, introduced the topic: Diogenes Cedeño Cenci and The Flower of the Holy Spirit. "
