113-2011 Through Multiple Occupation - DRELP-GRL, the Regional Bureau for Education in Lima has ordered the suspension of classes in schools that are located in the coastal part of region and the province of Barranca, Huacho, Cañete and Huaral.
Our Regional President, Javier Alvarado Gonzales del Valle, has ordered the tenure of the personnel working in hospitals and health centers in the coastal areas of the region for a prevention issue and states to take appropriate action as to be pending News issued by Civil Defense and Port Captains. It also relies on people to be calm because it is a preventive issue, but not stated so far that we can be affected by a tsunami of great magnitude which is available to take appropriate preventive measures.
The Civil Defense Regional Committee of the coastal zone are prepared adequately and timely to assist any catastrophic event that may occur on our coast.
